Call for paper

Guidelines for contributors

Potential contributors in the fields of geography, urban studies, planning, environmental science, landscaping, philosophy, economics, sociology, architecture, communication, design, linguistics and fine arts are invited to submit 4000-character proposals for papers outlining their main focus in French or English. Proposals should be in line with at least one of the topics of the programme: time and hybridisation, space and hybridisation, societies and hybridisation, mobility and hybridisation, customs and hybridisation, identity and hybridisation, culture and hybridisation, imagination and hybridisation, and so on. They can take either a theoretical or applied approach.

Proposals submitted will be reviewed and selected by the scientific committee. Authors whose proposals are accepted will give their paper during the Symposium.
  • 30 January 2012 : final date for submitting proposals
  • 16 February 2012 : authors notified
  • 9 March 2012 : final versions of papers will be printed for the Symposium
Publication of the proceedings

The papers which have been accepted will be printed and distributed to participants during the Symposium. They will also be published online once the Symposium has finished. Authors will be able to publish their papers in French or English.

The Symposium’s organising and scientific committees will invite a number of authors to submit expanded versions of their papers for publishing in a book or special issue of a scientific review.
